I’ve decided that I live my life far too much by countdowns.
First day of school: 14 days 20 hours 40 minutes
Skins Season 2: Too Long!
Easter Holidays: 87 days
Christmas 2008: 345 days
Those are just a few examples.
I have a distressing thing to write. Last night’s Shortland Street episode was not as fantastical as I expected. After a month of waiting, the end result was not acceptable. Aside from delightful relationship strengthening scene about Shanti and Scotty, it did not meet the standard.
On a lighter note the aforementioned darling friend of mine recommended a website to me, skinsonline@blogspot.com and it is the best ‘Skins’ website I have seen in a long time! It’s updated with heaps of photos and cool stuff regularly, so always has something new to offer.
I was thinking yesterday about how only a year ago I was still in England, and that over half the people in my year at school were completely foreign to me back then. One of them is in fact the darling friend of mine, Anna.

Despite the fact she feels that she is actually losing her ‘cool’ factor, I’ll give her five reasons why she isn’t
1. She could very well blend into the world of ‘Skins’
2. She doesn’t take any crap from anyone (will even resort to kung-fu)
3. Her life’s ambition is to follow the English music festivals
4. She can cook chicken like no one I've ever known
5. She owns a sailor suit!
She should be honoured to have that list!

ah, dear friend. how i do love you, and your blogs. your list has inspired me, and even given me a wee bit extra cool :D also, i think my monthly efature is making me a tad cooler. i already have next months one sorted. to give you the inside info, *shh* its a summer fun special!
